I don’t buy bread anymore! The new perfect recipe for sandwich bread

13.1K views on YouTube

Forget supermarket sandwich bread, I bring you the perfect recipe for a healthier and much tastier homemade sandwich bread. It is soft as a pillow inside, the crust is thin and crispy, and the rye flour gives it a unique taste! Rustic, flavorful, and so soft, this bread is perfect for epic sandwiches or simply enjoying with butter.

Ingredients:

* Water: ⅔ cup (160 ml)
* Bread flour – 1¾ cups (220g)
* Rye flour: ¾ cup (100 g)
* Plain yogurt: ¼ cup (60 g)
* Fresh yeast: 1 tsp. (3 g) or dry yeast: ½ tsp. (2 g)
* Vegetable oil: 1 tbsp.
* Salt: 1 tsp. (6 g)

Note:
• If you use instant yeast, add it directly to the flour, no need to mix it with water
• If you use dry active yeast, mix it with water and a little sugar and let it activate for 5-10 minutes. If it starts to foam, then the yeast is alive and active, otherwise don’t use it
• If you use fresh yeast you can either mix it with water as I did for a better distribution, or crumble it into the flour.

The golden crust and pillowy crumb will have you reaching for another slice before you’ve even finished the first.

Remember, the joy of cooking is in the process as much as in the final product. So, let’s enjoy the process together and make some delicious bread! 🥖
