Synthesis of Ethers | 13.2 Organic Chemistry

Chad briefly covers of few ways to prepare ethers. He begins with a review of the two alkene addition reactions (acid-catalyzed addition of an alcohol and alkoxymercuration-demercuration) that produce ethers as well as SN1 with an alcohol. He concludes the lesson with the one new way of creating an ether, the Williamson Ether Synthesis.
