The Hidden Survival Instinct of Citrus Trees🍊 #citrus #animation

🍊 What happens when a farmer forgets to feed their tree? The tree takes matters into its own… roots. This video reveals the shocking survival mechanism of a citrus tree that is forced to “eat” its own fruit.

🍊 After producing a huge crop, fruit trees are depleted of energy and nutrients. If they aren’t replenished with post-harvest fertilizer, they enter survival mode. The tree will begin to reabsorb water and precious nutrients from its own fruit and leaves, pulling them back into the main trunk to fuel new growth for the next season. This causes the fruit to shrivel and become worthless.

It’s a brutal but brilliant example of nature’s efficiency. Watch the dramatic showdown between a hungry tree and a forgetful farmer!
