Here we will understand the Properties of EX-OR and EX-NOR Gates.
In our previous discussions, we understood about ex-or and ex-nor.

Based upon our previous discussion and the definition of ex-or nad ex-nor are as follows.
EX-OR gate is a two-input one output gate whose output is one only when one of its two inputs is one.
The symbol for the EX-OR gate is encircled plus symbol ⊕.
The output if the ex-or gate is obtained by the modulo sum of its inputs.
The EX-OR gate is also called an inequality detector.
EX NOR Gate is a 2 input and 1 output gate which produces an output of 1 when both the inputs are either 1 or 0.
The symbol for EX NOR gate dot encircled.
The EX NOR Gate is also called an equality detector.
Now if we consider a 2-input, 3-input, and 4-input ex-or and ex-nor ate we will identify the following properties.
The output of the ex-or and ex-nor are complements if the number of inputs is even in number.
The output of the ex-or and ex-nor is the same if the number of inputs is odd in number.
