Here we will solve Examples on Minimization of POS Expression using K Map.

So far we have solved many examples on minimization of SOP expressions.

The important point to understand here is in SOP we fill the minterms of the boolean expression with 1 whereas in POS expression the maxterms are filled with 0’s in the k map.

In POS if the value of the variable is 0 it is considered in its true form whereas if the value of the variable is 1 it is considered in its complemented form.
