Geometry 7.4a, Triangle Proportionality Theorem & its Converse

An explanation of the Triangle Proportionality Theorem and its importance in making perspective drawings. We find the missing length of a segment of a triangle using the Triangle Proportionality Theorem. We verify that a segment is parallel to another segment of a triangle using the Converse of the Triangle Proportionality Theorem. We then construct a line parallel to the base of a triangle, using a compass and straightedge, that is proved by the Converse of the Triangle Proportionality Theorem.
