Geometry 12.5b, Angle relationships in circles
1.7K views on YouTube
A continuation of lesson 12.5a. We discuss angle relationships in circles and finding angle measures when a vertex of an angle is on a circle, inside a circle, or outside of a circle. We find the measure of an arc in our first example by using theorem 12.5.1 which states if a vertex of an angle is on a circle, then the measure of the angle is half the measure of its intercepted arc. We then find the measure of an arc by using theorem 12.5.2 which states if a vertex of an angle is inside a circle, then the measure of the angle is half the sum of the measures of its intercepted arcs.
