Geometry 6.6a, Properties of Kites & 2 Theorems

An explanation of a kite as a quadrilateral with exactly two pairs of congruent consecutive sides and its diagonals are not congruent. We have two theorems for the properties of kites, we work a proof for the second theorem which says if a quadrilateral is a kite then exactly one pair of opposite angles are congruent. We find the perimeter of a kite by using the Pythagorean theorem and properties of kites to find the side lengths. We find unknown angle measures using the properties of kites.
