Geometry 10.2a, Develop Pi or Construct to estimate Pi π

An explanation of the relationship between circumference, diameter, and Pi (π). We use cardboard, a compass, measuring tape, scissors, and a straightedge to construct and develop Pi. We make a “Pi measuring tape” with ribbon to find the diameter of a sphere. We construct inscribed and circumscribed polygons to estimate the value of Pi, then write our results as an inequality.
