Practical Toy Photography – Lego Star Wars Minifigure Portraits with no Photoshop!

“Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” is hitting cinemas this December, so we wanted to find inspiration in the iconic characters of the Star Wars saga. We’re going to express our love for the Star Wars universe through toy photography and use macro photography techniques to shoot LEGO!

In this macro photography tutorial, we are using practical effects to shoot macro portraits of LEGO Star Wars Minifigures. No photoshop was used in the making of these images, they are all shot using planned lighting, colours, lasers and haze in a can!
