Iron Filings are amazing! Up close they stack in seemingly impossible ways to create spikes of dust that rise out from the ground.

In this macro photography tutorial, we are shooting stills and video of our iron filings. A difficult subject to get interesting shots with, but we are giving it a go anyway. Thanks to Darren from our Facebook Photography Community for giving us the idea.
