How to make THEREFORE I AM by BILLIE EILISH

Let’s breakdown and remake the new single from Billie Eilish – ‘Therefore I Am’.

I’ve been waiting all week for this new Billie Eilish track. Everytime Billie and Finneas write and produce a new track, you just know something special is on it’s way! And this weeks new release was no exception, especially with the Rene Descartes shoutout! Love it.

In this Therefore I Am cover, we will look at how to produce ‘Therefore I Am’ in Logic Pro X. We will look at how to make thick bass, how to make a hard hitting 4 to the floor kick pattern, how to keep snares interesting by panning the hits on the 2nd and 4th beats differently, how to get the Billie Eilish thick vocal technique, how to make Super Mario / Gameboy Advance synth sounds, and lastly, how to get a great violin pizzicato glissando sound! Strings are always the answer.

Let me know down in the comments if there are any other songs you would like me to remake or cover!

How to make THEREFORE I AM by BILLIE EILISH

Under the Covers #40

———————————————————————————–

Hello! I’m Hugh AKA 93 Acres. I upload two videos a week all about music writing & production. The channel is entirely based on teaching you everything I wish I knew I knew when I started making music 12 years ago! I really hope it can bring value to you.
If you have any topic you wish to learn about, let me know and I can make a video on it!

I have spent time performing with other artists, including a European tour with the talented Irish band ‘All the Luck in the World’.

I am now regularly releasing music under 93 ACRES, and my latest release ‘Buckle End’ is out now with SEBA SAFE.
