Professor Fink describes the structure of a neuron and how they are categorized structurally and functionally. Included in the description are unipolar, bipolar & multipolar shaped neurons and sensory neurons, interneurons & motorneurons. Interneurons are located entirely within the CNS. Sensory Neurons are found within Nerves of the PNS and transmit information to the CNS. Motorneurons are also found within Nerves of the PNS and transmit commands from the CNS to the effector organs of the body.
