Watercolor Strawberries with No Sketching

I mentioned in a Patreon video that @Koosjakoene suggests trying to put the paint down first when sketching from a reference, and I found it helpful when trying to paint people. I put paint down first a lot when doing my blob creations, but I hadn’t really thought of doing it with something more structured using a reference photo. Lots of you had questions, and while I’m nowhere near ready to teach you how to draw a person, I thought we’d do it with a bowl of fruit. This is kind of similar to the bowl of cherries that we did on social media, but I think working from a reference, and adding shadows, makes this a little more challenging, and a good exercise when you’re learning to create from a reference.
