Painting Cactus on Different Backgrounds

I approached this week’s tutorial a bit differently. The painting itself, of a cactus, is really really simple to do, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to talk to you a little about backgrounds and colors and layering–oh my! Don’t be scared! I hope you’ll find this helpful and you’ll end up with a nice painting at the end!
