Jerry demonstrates this lesson using water mixable oil paints after developing allergies to traditional oil painting solvents and mediums. These water mixable oils provide virtually the same rich color, blending, and working characteristics as traditional oil paints, while allowing brushes and palettes to be cleaned with simple soap and water instead of harsh solvents.

One of the strengths of this lesson is that Jerry doesn’t simply show you what to paint—he explains why each technique works. You’ll learn proper brush handling, paint consistency, palette knife techniques, value relationships, atmospheric perspective, and how to build a landscape from dark underpainting to bright highlights using professional methods that every oil painter should know.
