In this video we show you how to do a van dyke join in fabric on a diamond tufted headboard. I show you my full method of how I join fabric on a diy headboard from measuring and working out where my van dyke join needs to go, how I cut the join in the fabric and how I create the join. I then show you how I would upholster the diamond tufted headboard with the van dyke join to make it an invisible join in the fabric! This is a great method when you are working with velvet fabric as if your fabric isn’t wide enough for the width of your headboard, you will need to create a join as the pile should all be going down 🙂
