In this video we show you how to finish the bottom of a sofa. We use bottoming fabric and show you the easiest way to attach it to the bottom of a sofa. The idea of using bottoming fabric on the bottom of a sofa is to hide all of the unsightly staples and edges of the fabric from where you have been upholstering and gives it a nice clean finish.
We use plain black bottoming fabric for all of our upholstery – it is cost effective whilst looking professional.
