In this week’s episode, we discuss how to find your creative style in landscape photography. There’s a saying I heard awhile ago that’s really stuck with me over the years, “You don’t find your creative style, your creative style finds you” and I couldn’t agree more. Finding your creative style in landscape photography takes time to develop and cultivate, it’s not something that’s going to happen overnight. You have to capture a lot of images and spend a great deal of time editing those images to determine what you like and what you don’t like versus what you’re good at and what you’re not so good at in order to begin developing your creative photography style.

In this video, I review an examination of my own work that I recently conducted in order to “FIND” my creative style – not to develop my creative style, but to “FIND” my creative style in landscape photography. When I think of a photographers creative style, I think of it in two seperate categories – first there’s a photographers Shooting Style and second is their Editing Style. This review process only took a few minutes to complete and the results had me thinking about my creative photography style in a way that I never quite thought of before – it was well worth the time spent!

I think many of us already have a creative style that we might not be aware of and my hope is that this video helps you to “FIND” your style in landscape photography.
