Discovering the Artist You Were Meant to Be Through Figure Drawing: https://www.newmastersvillage.com/art-retreat/huston

Constructing the human head starts with basic shapes. Instructor Steve Huston demonstrates how to use boxes, cylinders, and spheres to form the head’s basic structure. He focuses on constructing the head in different perspectives, ensuring a solid foundation for the facial features. For more detailed areas like the eyes, nose, mouth, and ears, Steve covers intermediate constructs.

Follow along as Steve illustrates how the Old Masters approached head construction. You’ll also get a timed assignment to practice these techniques and see Steve’s personal approach to the exercise.
