The PicoScope WPS500X Pressure Transducer, is probably the most versatile pressure diagnostics tool available. In this video we look at 4 different pressure transducer diagnostic test you can perform with the WPS500. We perform some petrol and diesel in cylinder pressure waveform analysis and use the PicoScope diesel glow plug adapter kit. There’s the possibility to perform pulse diagnostics. We use the pressure transducer for injector testing, and how to diagnose mechanical injector problems. A test which I really like the the diesel injector leak off test, where we can identify diesel injector problems by looking at the return fuel flow.
