Start Drawing: PART 2 – Draw a Watering Can using Shape

Learn to draw a watering can simply. In this art tutorial I look at the basic technique of how we look at an object as a series of shapes and then I explain how to draw the shapes step by step. I use a simple metal watering can as an example. I show how to look at the object and determine its basic shapes and to ignore the detail. This is essential if you are going to draw the basics of the object first. Once the basics are established any detail, light and shade can be added. The video is aimed at complete beginners and those who want to develop their basic drawing skills.
