#pianochords #chords #majorchords
This beginner piano chording tutorial teaches you all 12 of the Major Chords quickly and easily. I’ll teach you my tricks for remembering the notes of the major chords.

What is a chord?
A chord is a group of notes that are played at the same time. They are built by skipping letter names.

What is a triad?
A triad is a chord with 3 notes.

What is a major chord?
A Major chord is a chord that has a major third between the first 2 notes. It skips over a total of 3 keys (counting black and white keys.)

Why do I have to know all of the major chords?
In order to play using chord sheets, it’s important to have a good grasp of the notes in each chord. Triads are the most common type of chord, because they sound good and are easy to play.
