How to take Flat Frames for Astrophotography

Once you learn how to take flat frames, you will wonder how you ever lived without them. Each one of my astrophotography images uses calibration frames such as darks, flats and bias.

The “Flats” are used to correct vignetting and uneven field illumination in your astrophotography images. This takes place during the stacking process in DeepSkyStacker.
