How To Remove Noise From Vocals & Audio Recordings In FL Studio 20 (The EASY Way!)

This tutorial will show you how to remove background noise from vocals and audio recordings in fl studio. This could be unwanted background noise such as fans, pops, clicks, hum etc. In this tutorial, we will be using Edison which is FL Studio’s own noise removal and audio editing tool. These techniques work well on vocals and any other audio recording that contain noise.
recorded background noise can be difficult to avoid, especially if you only have a typical bedroom studio and not a dedicated singing booth for example. Noise from fans, traffic outside, etc is very common. fortunately, most noise can be removed.
These methods will help you clean up most of this.

IMPORTANT: Both the noise and the processing shown in this video is severely exaggerated in order to show the effect.

None of these methods is 100% non-destructive, so only minimal processing should ever be used in a real-world scenario. If you need to use huge amounts of processing like shown in this video, then you’re better off going back and recording the vocal over again. You should always start out with a recording that is as clean as possible. If you can’t afford a vocal booth, pop-filter, etc, then try using some pillows, etc behind the mic to minimize room reverberation and such. Every little bit helps. You want to use as little post-processing as possible in order to ensure that the vocal sounds natural.
