How to Bend Text in DaVinci Resolve – Lesson 134 DaVinci Resolve Tutorial

3.2K views on YouTube

Today, we’re creating a bending text effect in DaVinci Resolve—perfect for creative titles and dynamic designs. Let’s jump in!
First, go to the Effects Library, search for Text+, and drag it onto your timeline. Type in your text and customize the font, size, and color to match your style.
Now, open the Inspector Panel and go to the Layout tab. Under Type, select Circle—this automatically curves your text along a circular path.
To refine the effect:
Adjust the Position to shift the text within the circle.
Modify the Width slider to control the curvature—widening it reduces the bend, while narrowing it increases it.
Play around with these settings to get the perfect bend for your design!
And that’s it! I hope you found this helpful—like, share, and subscribe for more DaVinci Resolve tips!
