How to ACTUALLY learn anatomy

When you first start learning anatomy to improve your art, it can get incredibly overwhelming. I know I found it very difficult! Luckily, you don’t have to memorize every muscle right away. I’m definitely not an expert, but I’ll try to explain the steps I took to gradually build up my anatomy knowledge. I hope it helps!
