Overview of of ESP12 GPS Project:
GPS stands for Global Positioning System and it is used to find out location, altitude, speed, date and time in UTC. In this project we are going to interface a GPS module with NodeMCU ESP12 module. A simple local web server is created using NodeMCU and the location details are updated in that server webpage. Specialty of this IoT based project is we can check the location in Goolge Maps by clicking on the link provided in the web page. You can also open this webpage and check the location from anywhere by activate port forwarding in your modem/router.
