In this video I’ll take you through the process of stacking FITS frames in DeepSkyStacker. The images were shot using a one-shot-color CMOS astronomy camera [Altair Hypercam 183C]
The Camera was attached to an Explore Scientific ED102 Telescope:
An Explore Scientific UHC Filter was used to capture these RGB images.
Much like a CCD camera, the 183C produces 16-bit grayscale FIT files, which need to be debayered to produce color, and process.
This video was recorded for those of you looking for some basic guidelines of the settings I use in DeepSkyStacker for my images.
