Correction:
24:15 Teaching point… Higher charge density in a metal ion usually leads to stronger ionic bonding and higher melting points. In the video I used AlClβ as an example, but this was misleading β AlΒ³βΊ is so polarising that AlClβ becomes largely covalent (forming AlβClβ molecules), so its melting point is actually much lower than NaCl and MgClβ.
