Toyota A760E/A960E No 2nd Gear or 2–3 Bind? Check the #2 Sprag

Working on a Toyota or Lexus with an A760E, A960E, or AB60E transmission and running into a no 2nd gear or a bind-up on the 2–3 shift? One commonly overlooked cause is the #2 sprag, and it’s not always about failure. Sometimes, it’s installed backward or incorrectly during a rebuild.
