Why spend a lot of time reviewing lectures 1-25? Prior to Fall 2018, Cal Poly Pomona offered two courses in thermodynamics: Thermodynamics I (ME 301) and Thermodynamics II (ME 302) in a quarter system. Starting in Fall 2018, the university converted to a semester system and content from the two courses was divided among Thermodynamics (ME 3011) and Intermediate Thermal-Fluids Engineering (ME 3121). Lectures 1-25 correspond to Thermodynamics I.
