A brief intro to an important and oft overlooked skill in welding.

Restarting welds can be challenging with Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), also known as Manual Metal Arc (MMA), Stick Welding or Rod Welding. In this video I show how to restart your stick welds using 7018 electrodes, and the same concepts can be applied to other electrodes.
