Quantum Chemistry 13.3 – Nuclear Magnetic Resonance
4.2K views on YouTube
Short lecture on nuclear magnetic resonance.
The magnetic dipoles of spin 1/2 nuclei interact with a magnetic field so generate two states of different total energy. The frequency of photon absorbed to transition between these two energy levels is determined by the strength of the magnetic field and the magnetogyric ratio of the nucleus.
