How to measure amplitude and frequency of a signal using DSO ( Digital Storage Oscilloscope).

DSO is a very important instrument for measurement of signal in a communication system, as almost all the experiment which is performed in the lab can be measured using this device.
In order to learn how to measure basic signals. I have used a sinusoidal signal. The use of cursor is explained to measure voltage and time/frequency of a signal.

DSO is very comfortable when it is compared with CRO because there is a button provided in DSO that automatically detect the input signal and trace it on the screen with all the values which will be seen on the screen.
