How to Make a 4-bit Shift Register Circuit – The Learning Circuit

After learning about shift registers, Karen shows how to use one in a circuit. Shift registers can take data from a single input and transfer it to multiple outputs or take data from multiple inputs and transfer it to a single output. In this video, Karen shows how to use a 4-bit, bidirectional shift register in a circuit. This shift register has 4 parallel inputs and outputs where data can be transferred. It also has two serial inputs, that can be used to shift data left or right across the 4 outputs.
