Hi everyone. Welcome back to the immunology series. Today we have a very open-ended lecture titled immune failure. Sometimes our immune system fails to fight infections due to having a weakened immune response. We call that immune deficiency. But immune failure refers to when pathogens develop or evolve ways to evade our immune system. So, we are going to look at both bacteria and viruses examples of how they find ways to beat our immune response. Let’s get started.
