In this tutorial you’ll learn how to create background blur with the adjustment brush and the gradient filter and some helpful masking techniques to make selecting the background easier than ever before. This is a simple alternative to blurring backgrounds in Photoshop since it’s more beginner-friendly. Although this doesn’t replace using a wide aperture, it does do a great job to replicate background blur, especially with the gradient filter!
