Chad defines the term dilution and shows how to use M1V1=M2V2 to perform calculations involving dilutions. He then provides two examples of problems involving solution stoichiometry. He shows how the molarity and volume of a solution can be used to calculate the number of moles of a solute which can then be related to the number of moles of another reactant or product using the mole-to-mole ratios provided by a balance chemical reaction.
