You’ll learn how high levels of acetyl-CoA, NADH, and ATP inhibit the complex, while pyruvate, NAD⁺, and ADP act as activators, helping the cell adapt to fed or fasting states.

The lecture emphasizes covalent regulation through PDH kinase, which phosphorylates and inactivates the enzyme, and PDH phosphatase, which reactivates it.
