Jet Dependence of Charged Particle Production in pp Collision at LHC Energies – Graduate Lab Presentation by Physicist Hammad Shaukat

In this video, I present my graduate lab project on “Jet Dependence of Charged Particle Production in Proton-Proton (pp) Collisions at LHC Energies.” This presentation is a part of my Master’s program in Physics at COMSATS University Islamabad. Here, we dive into the study of high-energy particle collisions at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and explore the role of jet production in charged particle multiplicity and energy distributions.

4. Pseudorapidity Distributions**: I explain pseudorapidity distributions and how particle density changes relative to the collision angle, shedding light on spatial distributions across different energy levels.
5. Transverse Momentum Spectra**: Investigation of transverse momentum (pT) distributions, emphasizing how higher collision energies increase the likelihood of producing particles with greater momentum.
6. Implications for Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD)**: I discuss the broader implications of these findings, including how this research supports and challenges theoretical predictions in QCD and contributes to the ongoing quest to understand subatomic particles and their interactions.
