Geometry 10.6b, Geometric Probability

1.1K views on YouTube

An explanation of how in geometric probability, the probability of an event is based on a ratio of geometric measures (like length, angle measure, area). We discuss an example of using length to find the geometric probability that a stoplight will be yellow when we arrive, angle measures for the probability of landing on a certain color in a spinner, then we use area to find the geometric probability that a random point would land inside a circle, triangle, or trapezoid, that are inside of a large rectangle.
